ОЛЕНА СЕМЕНІВНА ЛИПНИК (до 100-річчя від дня народження)

Олена Семенівна Липник – знаний фахівець-мікропалеонтолог української палеонтологічної науки, учениця доктора геолого-мінералогічних наук, професора О.К. Каптаренко-Черноусової, старший науковий співробітник відділу стратиграфії і палеонтології мезозойських відкладів Інституту геологічних наук НАН України, кандидат геолого-мінералогічних наук. У статті наведена біографія та науковий доробок вченої, яка вивчала біостратиграфію верхньокрейдових відкладів платформної України за форамініферами, зокрема відклади верхньої крейди Дніпровсько-Донецької западини та окраїн Донбасу. О.С. Липник є розробником і співавтором зонального розчленування верхньокрейдових відкладів Східноєвропейської платформи за бентосними форамініферами, розробником і автором зональної шкали відкладів верхньої крейди Дніпровсько-Донецької западини за бентосними форамініферами, автором поділу верхньокрейдової товщі Дніпровсько-Донецької западини на світи, одним із авторів регіональної стратиграфічної схеми верхньокрейдових відкладів Дніпровсько-Донецької западини та окраїн Донбасу. Описано наукову спадщину Олени Семенівни Липник. В основу дослідження покладено особову справу та автобіографію О.С. Липник; фотографії з архівів Інституту геологічних наук НАН України та доктора геолого-мінуралогічних наук, професора Д.Є. Макаренка, а також спогади співробітників інституту.
